About this Course

Become a better informed member of the community by being the first graduating class of the Renton Academy of City Services (RACS): Teen Edition! This is an opportunity to ask questions, learn about city functions, tour some of the city facilities, and get the inside scoop on how the City of Renton works for you! All sessions are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and held at Renton City Hall unless otherwise noted. You must sign up for the series of classes which run Thursday evenings for 6 weeks. Participants must complete a minimum of 5 classes to be eligible for graduation, held on Saturday, May 20. Graduation will include Certificates of Completion and class photos with the mayor! Participation can be documented as community service hours toward graduation requirements. Participants must provide service hour documentation to be signed by City of Renton staff.
