About this Course

Pre-Registration is required. In India, Holi also known as Festival of Color announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a colorful sight. Everyone alike is covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, black, and silver). People are seen singing, dancing, and throwing colors on each other. Join Renton Parks & Recreation along with non-profit Voice of Planet to host this open to all event. Enjoy a DJ, and entertainment that accompanies the celebration of Holi/Festival of Color as it bears witness to a feeling of oneness and a sense of brotherhood. The festival brings home the lesson of spiritual and social harmony!! All colors provided to attendees.
