About this Course

Ages 50 and up. Join us for a hearty “brunch” at the infamous Huckleberry Square restaurant to start the day followed by a nice walk on the beach! The Environmental Science Center will lead participants on an exciting and educational experience to explore the intertidal habitat at Seahurst Park during a summer low tide. Naturalists will lead participants along the beach to explore the plants and animals of this habitat, share stewardship tips for safe and healthy exploration, and share about the restoration of the park to improve stormwater management. Participants must be able to walk on uneven terrain to participate in the walk on the beach. Please bring additional money for food.
